Milan
The highlight of a brief trip to Italy was a visit to the beautiful Gothic Duomo di Milano catedral and the Sana Maria delle Grazie convent, which houses Leonardo da Vincis mural The Last Supper. The light was beautiful and in the evening times walks found us walking home finding quaint little restaurants . My thoughts were that I would find some colourful streets , narrow streets that told stories of age . I was fortunate to take a fair few images in a short time, but feel the "Wedding Cake Fountain' was perhaps my most memorable area. Many couples sitting on the edge, elderly locals perching there for a rest. The hospitality was lovely in most places we went . There were plenty of waiters with characters and locals who had smiles and were keen to help, even though they did not understand a word we were saying . There is so much to see in so many areas, definately an area I would love to revisit with more time for the camera.....
Three of the images I have placed on here have been entered into competitions....fingers crossed.
