Slowing time and light .......
I have recently discovered new inspiration from different avenues, I am able to relate and be drawn to the work and words of Sarah Talibert. For me , she epitomises with her writing and thought how I think and feel about the world around me when I am at peace . Maybe its the childhood , that does this, playing near the sea, offon my own for hours exploring without a care in the world. No phones, no watches just light to tell me when it was time to venture home for supper.
Sometimes the only way of showing honest true expression is by sharing an image ,a letter, or feeling. A captured moment in time, a memory or deepened memory. .It serves as a reminder and opens our world. I too would spend cold weather days, of rain and snow and trekking miles to find a beautiful sight , then onwards to capture it to share witth others. If not, then there is blindess. I am currently seeking a new camera to help take me where I wish to go with photography , and this lady seems to be in that very place . Sarah gave up her career in law to become a photographer. Oh to be fulfilled , calm , free from nonentities and to be able to share that vision with others who equally enjoy.
In this folder I will be adding more images related to slowing exposure, 'slowing time'.
Here are a few of the recent slow exposures, caught at a time of twilight on the South Coast. I do travel most weekends, even if it is just a day, away from the maddening crowds . It is the nature and landscape that appeals to me more than ever at present.
I love exploring new areas. We are eternally blessed with such beauty along our English Coastline. I wish we could all pay more attention to the beauty of the world , if only others more could see all this and gain.....
